Highest density of PASSIVE POE ports per cubic inch on the market for those small equipment boxes.
The only switch line on the market that can deliver 1.5A of 24V or 48V on all 4 pairs (24VH and 48VH).
The only switch line on the market that has current sensors on all passive POE ports.

Note:
Prior to Rev F Port 2 used to support 24VH and 48VH only.

Note:
Port 1 will accept passive 48VH (48-56V) using all 4 pairs like a POE
injector used to power an airFIBER 24 GHz.

DO NOT power the WS-6-MINI  with a standard passive POE adapter
that only supplies 48V power on 2 pairs.

If powering the WS-6-MINI with a 48-56V barrel connector power supply
port 1 has no POE options, it is just a standard Ethernet port.

If powering the WS-6-MINI with a barrel connector power supply be
sure to connect the ground screw to Earth Ground for ESD protection.

Highly recommendable
As a wISP this switch makes a great difference for us. Suddenly we can afford to make a cheap small site providing Internet to only few households.
Together with the EdgeRouter X the WS-6-MINI you have a great combo!
Reuse the PoE from AF5/24 to power the switch. Use the port in the PoE adapter for management and you're good to go!
Cheap and effective!

Great little switch
This rock solid switch has all the features and quality of the higher end models. Lots of data gathering for the inner geek as well. Need to know the input voltage or current, got it. Need to know the current on port 4, got it. What is hooked to port 4...... check the mac table! Temperature, diagnostics, and all the normal features you expect in a high grade switch.

Flexible product
The WS-6 Mini is the switch we've been waiting for. With the ability to be fed via PoE from another WISPSwitch or stand alone PoE injector and still power other devices while maintaining the full feature set of it's bigger brothers is awesome. It's flexibility can't be beat. It's perfect for mini pop's, at the top of the tower or anywhere you need it.

Your Toughswitch Replacements.
An excellent product, and cheap/fast shipping (We're in Scotland). As soon as we had our hands on these, they immediately went into the front line, replacing dodgy old Toughswitches and Mikrotik 260GS switches.

They easily handle our complex VLAN needs, and touch-wood - no Netonix device has let us down yet.

Highly recommended.

An excellent product, it saved our bacon!
We originally intended to take our time with our new WS-6-MINI, and put it through its paces on the test-bench before deployment. However, disaster struck (in the form of a leaking NEMA box, frying a ToughSwitch) and we needed a switch in a hurry. The WISP Switch was easy to setup under pressure, with an intuitive user-interface and great performance (free of the constant reboots that plague other devices during setup). We configured the switch in under 30 minutes, with about 8 VLANs and some complicated trunking rules. Deployment with an existing AirFiber PoE was fast and easy, and the switch just worked. It is carrying over 200 mbit/s of consistent traffic, peaking far higher than that - and load rarely tops 16%, giving me great confidence that the switch can scale. Overall, a great product - easy, fast, and does exactly what Netonix say that it will.
